Loyalty cards built for beauty salons
A salon client comes back every few weeks, not every day. A short stamp card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet keeps your salon on their phone between appointments and rewards them for booking the next one.
Fewer visits, more value in each
A haircut every six weeks, a manicure every two or three: salon visits are weeks apart, and each one is worth more than a coffee. A card of 10 stamps would take a year to fill, and nobody keeps a card going for a reward that far away.
So keep it short. The example card has 5 stamps with a first reward at 3: a regular client gets something back within a few months and a bigger reward soon after. With fewer stamps, each one feels like progress.
Stamp at the desk, after the service
The stamp goes on when the client pays. Your administrator scans the QR on the client's card, or types the phone number, which a salon usually has from the booking anyway. Phone numbers work in the local form, 5XX XXX XXX, or with +995.
When several specialists share one desk, each stamp is logged with the name of the person who gave it, so you can see who looks after which clients. Free includes two team members, Pro ten, and Business has no limit.
Rewards that bring a client back
Add-on services cost you time rather than stock, which makes them good rewards: brow shaping, a hair mask, a nail repair. Put a discount on a bigger service at the end of the card, so the full card brings the client back for something they might not have booked otherwise.
Your colours and your logo
Choose the card's background, text, label and stamp colours, and one of 16 stamp icons, including scissors, heart, star and leaf. On Pro and Business the card carries your own logo instead of your initial. Clients see the same card on the join page, in the browser and in their phone's wallet.
Rewards that work here
- Free brow shaping at 3 visits
- Half price on a manicure at 5 visits
- A hair mask with the next cut
- A small set of samples when the card is full
- One welcome stamp for a new client's first visit
Questions
How many stamps should a salon card have?
Fewer than a café's. With visits weeks apart, 4 to 6 stamps keeps the reward within a few months. Any goal from 2 to 20 works, with up to five rewards along the way.
Can different specialists stamp the same card?
Yes. Invite each specialist to your team; each signs in with their own account and every stamp shows who gave it. Free includes two team members, Pro ten, Business unlimited.
Can I put my salon's logo on the card?
Yes, on Pro (29 GEL a month) and Business (69 GEL a month). On Free the card shows your initial in the colour you choose.
Do clients have to give their phone number?
No. Only a name is required to join; phone, email and birthday are optional. Whether a client agrees to receive marketing is a separate choice they make.
